International Women’s Day
Lead Thru Sport #52Strong Gala
Lead Thru Sport launched their #52Strong Campaign at the start of the year, which highlighted female role models and the avenue in which they have been involved in sport. It was created to raise awareness about the different ways to participate in sport, as well as encourage athletes to recognize all the beneficial transferable skills they can develop through sport, and in their future.
I am so honoured to have been featured as one of the leaders. Growing up playing sports was let alone fun, but also educational. Throughout the years I stayed involved, and applied my knowledge to everything I did. Click here to read more.
The #52Strong Gala was a celebration of female leaders from across the country with a diverse set of leadership experiences. Not only was it a chance to bring everyone in the same space, but also an opportunity for young female athletes to meet role models and have meaningful conversations with them.
The day began with a warm welcome, a plethora of delicious desserts as well as tea sandwiches by Lee Anne Chon, and positive energy roaming around the entire room. This gala was comprised of a Conversation Café, which included important topics including empowerment, confidence, and barriers to name a few. The afternoon ended with a keynote speaker, Pam Danis, who shared her story and words of encouragement for all. There were also moments to mix and mingle, take photos and much more. It was a pleasure being in a room full of beautiful, talented women—but also having the opportunity to converse and celebrate one another.
Thank you so much to Natasha and Carmen for reaching out, and allowing me to not only be part of your campaign, but also a special moment in women’s history! You two did an outstanding job from beginning to end with everything. Lead Thru Sport has already impacted the lives of many in a positive way, and I can’t wait to witness the growth of female leaders in Canada.

Blushington's Beauty Bar Grand Opening
A woman with confidence speaks for herself. Society doesn't make that so easy sometimes. Ads that promote "perfect" bodies, a full beat face--comparisons to "perfection" on Instagram are another thing. Let's help make confidence in your own skin a thing again. Known for its modern take on traditional beauty and grooming, the newly opened Blushington's Beauty Bar does just that.
Located in North York on 1925 Avenue Road, Blushington's hosted an exclusive Lash Bash Grand Opening event on June 28, 2018. I was one of the lucky people to be invited and was in awe!
I entered on a red carpet and was greeted by friendly faces. To my left was a giant "Blushington's" sign with bright greenery and the cutest balloon ensemble.
These four beautiful ladies you see here are the co-founders of Blushington's Beauty Bar. They are creative professionals with over 15 years of aesthetics, management and digital marketing experience. And what's a grand opening without a ribbon cutting ceremony? These ladies are #goals!
Drinks were provided by Fiji, Hennessy, and Belvedere.

Thankful for the opportunity to sing the Canadian National Anthem prior to the 8th Grade Game at the 2018 CYBL All-Star Game! Last time I performed live was in 2013 so I guess you can say I was coming out of retirement lol.

NBA All-Star Week(end) Toronto 2016

Grateful for the opportunity to be a part of NBA All-Star Weekend. An experience of growth and learning but an unforgettable one as well. My favourite part was being able to meet new people, highlights included meeting Kobe Bryant, Paul George, and Kevin Durant. Long hours, long days but well worth it.
SNKRS XPRESS
One of the event happenings was "SNKRS XPRESS," a streetcar decked out in the hottest Nike & Jordan kicks at the time, which allowed passengers to purchase any item of their choice throughout the ride. At the end stop they would pick up their purchase in a customized SNKRS XPRESS paper bag that included a Jason Markk cleaning kit and some pins.
